ANWA Jr. Registration (Teens 12-16)

ANWA Jr. participants will have their very own workshop on Saturday morning! These writers will join the main conference for the keynote speaker, then they will go to their very own series of classes and activities, and will end at a lunch with the rest of the conference where, with their chaperones, they’ll be able to network with real authors!

Thursday Workshop

Join us for a BONUS DAY at conference! This year, Thursday has three unique workshops:

Track 1: First 10 Pages Critique Groups. If you want a specific critique genre group, deadline to register is September 1, 2026.

Track 2: Main Character Energy: Building Your Author Instagram with Serene Heiner (3 hour intensive)

Track 3: Flirting with the Algorithm: Create Scroll-Stopping Content in Canva with Danyelle Ferguson (3 hour intensive)

Query Consults

Get a professional query consult from our guest editors and agents. Consults will cover a ONE-page query letter plus the first page of your manuscript.

Manuscript Consults

Get a 15-minute professional critique of your ONE-page query letter plus the first TEN pages of your manuscript from a guest agent. Your agent will pre-read the pages prior to your session and provide detailed feedback.

Choosing a self-publishing path? Talk to someone who knows the ins and outs in this 15-minute session. Our gurus have personal experience in the self-pub world and are eager to show you the ropes.

The Friday Night Gala is included with in-person conference registration. Online Only attendees or guests of in-person attendees may register to attend the gala for a $10 fee.

Friday Night Gala

ANWA presents the Annual Conference Gala Friday night from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Theme: Writing is Groovy!

Get ready for a far-out night of fun! Our “Writing is Groovy” Gala is all about good vibes, great company, and celebrating the joy of storytelling. Come connect, unwind, and enjoy a retro-inspired evening you won’t forget! Costumes are welcome but optional.

The Gala is included for all In-Person Attendees. Conference in-person attendees may register additional Guests for $10. Conference online attendees may attend the gala in-person for $10. General Public may attend the gala for $10.
